Michelia Mason is the Head Librarian of the Tom Slick Library serving Southwest Research Institute, a nonprofit, multidisciplinary science and engineering research organization in San Antonio, Texas. Michelia guides research support services, institutional scholarly and technical resource acquisitions, library systems integrations, library programming and special collections, and data evaluation. She is active on the board of the Council of Research and Academic Libraries, Women of Science and Engineering, and various committees in support of DEI initiatives within organizations, STEM, and librarianship.
